Nine years ago, Bridgewater’s veteran Villa Expert, Mark Murphy, left a successful retail-clothing career of 20 years for something new—a career in real estate. Some aspects of the two careers were the same—working with style, color, helping people—some things were different. After receiving his real estate license and seeing homes for the first time with a homebuyer at his side, he realized in order to help someone purchase a home, he’d feel better if he knew the home inside and out.
